Jam Tarts & Marmalade Sandwiches!

Join Tudor House in celebrating our favourite literary heroes and their favourite foods! Follow the trail to find Alice and her tea party, Winnie the Pooh’s honey, Paddington’s marmalade sandwiches and more. Nominate your favourite literary food for a chance to win a cream tea for two at Tudor House! Free entry to the museum. Open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. 10am – 4pm. 27th May – 17th June. This event is part of the Worcester Lit Fest and Fringe.

Oak Apple Day

Join Tudor House in celebrating this 357 year old festival, which began life in 1660 to commemorate the return of Charles II to the throne! Help decorate our "oak" tree with your own leaves and drawings of Charles. This is a free activity, suitable for all ages. The museum is open from 10am - 4pm.

Writers Workshop

The perfect morning for all budding wordsmiths! Published author, Sue Johnson, will guide you through the creative writing process using this wonderful Tudor building to inspire you. A great way to welcome celebrate the change in seasons and shift into autumn. Tea and cake provided. Tickets are £15 per person. Places limited to 12 to ensure all attendees enjoy the best possible experience! Tickets available from September.

Telling the Tale

For Museums at Night, October 2017, Tudor House Museum will be joined by renowned story-teller, Sharon Carr, for a candle-lit tour of the museum, followed by tales from the house.
