As followers of our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds will know, in 2017 we took part in the Worcester Cathedral Festival of Trees and we picked tea cosies for our theme. Our tea cosies are quite famous locally and raise over £1000 a year for the museum. The witty knitters in our team all set to the task of adapting all their tea cosy designs to make them tiny enough to fit on a tree, others cut out cardboard teapots to fit inside and still more painstakingly stuffed and looped each one so they looked fab on our tree.
See? Doesn’t it look wonderful?
The response we had was incredible and there were many enquiries as to whether we’re selling the tiny tea cosies. Fear not, enquirers, we are auctioning them off!
Each cosy starts at £10 and to enter your bid, all you need to do is fill in the contact form below with your details, the cosy you’d like and the amount you want to bid. These will all be entered into the auction and on 14th February, we’ll close the bidding, contacting the winners on the 16th.
The tiny tea cosies available to bid on are: bee skep, Father Christmas, grey cat, flower pot, nurse, cottage, Christmas pudding, strawberry, nurse, pineapple, Arran cardigan, black cat and owl.
***EXTRA The Angel-Nurse tree topper is also up for auction!
Complete with halo, wings and plastic teapot, bidding for her starts at £20!***
