Some new events coming up for the summer and beyond to December 2017. This year, we’re really pleased to be welcoming story-teller extraordinaire, Sharon Carr, to the museum in August for 2 story-telling sessions that perfectly match our summer kids theme of Crowning Yourself!
Also in August is Worcester’s Foodie Festival (5th & 6th August) where the Cardinal’s Hat will be running their excellent pop-up bar and food stall here in our courtyard.
Heritage Open Days in September is all about those Stinky Tudors – how ever would they have smelled to us? Following that will be our first ever Tudor Folk, featuring Worcestershire folk singers and songwriters, and kindly organised by the dedicated folkster team behind Armandaleg Music.
October is crazy busy with our writer’s workshop, Halloween half term and Museums at Night! The ale also returns with our Reliving the Tavern night run in conjunction with the Cardinal’s Hat.
We draw breath before the city-wide Victorian Christmas Fayre, and finish the year off with a splendid production of Ghosts of Christmas Past by the excellent Don’t Go Into The Cellar crew. Then we might take a few days off…!
