DESCRIPTION:This Easter\, join us for our new activity: Tudor Building Investigators. Perfect for any budding historians or architects! Come and find out all the secrets of our sixteenth century building – from carpenter’s marks\, to ceilings\, to mysterious cannonball dents! \nThe workshop will run 6 times and lasts about half an hour. It’s ideal for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children\, and there’s no need to book – just turn up on the day. Sessions cost £1 per child. \nParents are welcome to join us as we go around (for no charge) or wait in the museum café with one of our delicious cakes! \nThe workshops will run at 10:30\, 12:30 and 2:30 on Wednesday 13 and Wednesday 20 April only. DESCRIPTION:There’s lots of fun activities happening at Tudor House this Easter holiday. We have our new Tudor Rat ‘Hide and Seek’ for under fives. Can your little ones find all twenty knitted rats hidden around the museum\, to win a Tudor Rat sticker? \nFor children aged 5 to 11\, we have our recently revamped Tudor Rat Trail – an activity booklet that guides children around the museum\, encouraging them to write and draw some of the most historic features of our building. \nThe under fives Hide and Seek is free and Tudor Rat Trail costs £2 (includes a Tudor House pencil to take away!)

Come along and make some knitted ‘egg cosies’ which we can sell as Easter gifts\, to help raise funds for the museum.
