SUMMARY:Kids' Crafty Fridays: Rag Rugging
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Tudor House Museum for some fun and historic crafting over summer 2021! We’ll be sharing traditional crafting techniques throughout the holidays. Our next event is on Friday 20th August from 10am to 12pm. \nRag Rugs were traditionally made from old clothes and scraps of material\, and used as a rug on the floor or on the bed. We’ll provide the tools and the materials\, though you can bring an old shirt of your own if you’d like! \nThis event is suitable for ages 8 and up but rag rugging can be quite challenging. If you are a complete crafting beginner\, you might want to try some of our other\, slightly easier events like Learning to Knit! \nOnly a limited number of places are available\, so please reserve yours by booking a ticket on Eventbrite. There is a charge of £5 which you will be asked to pay on the day. If you find you can’t make it\, please do let us know so we can offer your place to someone else!
