Thanks to funding from Arts Council England and Elmley Small Grants, we are continuing with our Bedfellows Project. We aim to create Tudor-style curtains and a counterpane for our four-poster bed. Using traditional stitching techniques and led by a textile artist, we’re creating a unique embroidered textile for our museum. And we’re looking for volunteers to help us! No experience is necessary and all materials are provided. Whether you’re a complete novice or an experienced stitcher, there’s something for all.
