In 2020, we recorded the evacuation experiences of Alec Morrison, one of our Tudor House volunteers. Alec shares his wonderfully engaging story with Worcestershire and West Midlands school children at our Life during WWII workshops. Inspired by his story our Young Curator, Maddie, is producing a pop-up exhibition with handleable objects, children’s activities and Alec’s Evacuee Experience film, all of which will tell the story of children evacuated during the 1940s.

The exhibition will run from 1 September to 2 October. Entry is free but we always appreciate donations!
