We have a really exciting event this summer at Tudor House! Elka Evalds, a best-selling children’s author, will be running a workshop right here at the museum.

Elka will help you create your very own picture book to take away with you, sharing some of her hints and tips for how to produce a thrilling story complete with beautiful illustrations. The event will run from 10:30 to 11:30 on Saturday 20 August, and costs just £5 per child. It is best enjoyed by ages 8 and up.

Pre-booking via Eventbrite (or by emailing or calling the museum) is essential. You will need to pay on the day. Parents of children aged 13 and under are asked to stay on the museum site during the workshop. (Entry to the museum is free, and we have a café stocked with delicious cake and tea!).
