The Storyteller Presents…
Thursday, August 16, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
FreeStoryteller extraordinaire, Sharon Carr, will be returning this summer to bring you tales of dinosaurs, dragons, pirates and knitting the colours of the sky! Weaving these tales with the history of the museum and Worcestershire, she’ll perform with the aid of puppets, music and song.
9th August, 2pm: The Storytelling Stone. “Now I will tell you stories of what happened long ago. There was a world before this one…” A small boy listens as his friend, the Storytelling Stone tells him stories from long, long ago when there was a world where dinosaurs, dragons and other scaly beasts lived like the Snake who lost his voice and the story of the Bone Girl.

16th August 2pm: Fatima the Story Spinner. Fatima comes from a family of spinners and while sailing across the sea with her family, she gets shipwrecked and is washed up on the shores of new lands. Fatima learns many new stories during her adventures, like the time she was captured by pirates. As Fatima travels, she learns other crafts like weaving and tent making. She would be telling stories from her travels to her new friends while she weaves and/or spins.
Each session lasts 45 minutes to an hour and are free to attend. Places are limited, so we recommend booking through our Eventbrite page – click on the link in the name of the performance you’d like to see. Suitable for ages 5 and up.
