We may have been closed for the past 5 months, but we’ve not been quiet! During that time we’ve finished the restoration on our Tudor embossed ceiling, redecorated the inside and the outside of the building, taken out false walls and panelling and a host of other works.

September is our transition month as we adapt to new circumstances and while we wait for the installation of our new activities and information boards. This means that you can see, uncluttered and newly revealed, features to the building. Beams and timbers, original wattle and daub, a whole new display area and our beautiful ceiling are all here to you to experience!

Entry to the museum will be via timed ticket, from 10am to 3pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Please take a look at our Visit Us page for restrictions
