Earlier this year, we launched our ‘Plague and Pestilence‘ writing competition, part of our National Heritage Lottery Funded Revealing the Past project. We received many excellent entries, and were so impressed by them all. But…there can only be one winner!

13 year old Grace won for best overall entry, with 13 year old Daniel’s story being highly commended. Congratulations to you both! We’d also like to say a huge thank you to all our entrants. The stories we received are filled with thrilling twists and spooky turns, and paint a very vivid picture of life in Worcester during the 1637 plague outbreak.
