Thanks to Arts Council England Funding and Elmley Small Grants, we are continuing with our Bedfellows Project, which began in 2019. We aim to create Tudor-style curtains and counterpane for our four-poster bed. Using traditional stitching techniques and led by a textile artist, we will create a unique embroidered textile for our museum. And we need you to get involved! No experience is necessary. Whether you’re a skilled stitcher or you’ve never picked up a needle before, there’s something for everyone. All materials are provided and there is no cost.
