Kids’ Crafty Friday: Learn to Lucet
Friday, July 30, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
£5Join us at Tudor House Museum for some fun and historic crafting over summer 2021! We’ll be sharing traditional crafting techniques throughout the holidays. Our first event is on Friday 30th July from 10am to 12pm.
A lucet is a tool dating back to Viking times which makes a braid that can be used as lace or a belt. We’ll be teaching you everything you need to know to ‘Learn to Lucet’, and you can make a friendship bracelet to take home. All materials will be provided!
This event is suitable for complete beginners and is for ages 8 and up. If you’re an experienced crafter after something a bit more challenging, why not try making a Dorset button?
Only a limited number of places are available, so please reserve yours by booking a ticket on Eventbrite. There is a charge of £5 which you will be asked to pay on the day. If you find you can’t make it, please do let us know so we can offer your place to someone else!
