Join us at Tudor House Museum for some fun and historic crafting over summer 2021! We’ll be sharing traditional crafting techniques throughout the holidays. Our next event is on Friday 6th August from 10am to 12pm.

Dorset buttons originated in Dorset (of course!) and were made from the 17th to 19th centuries. Come and have a go at making your own – all materials included!

This event is suitable for ages 8 and up but Dorset buttons are quite challenging. If you are a complete crafting beginner, you might want to try some of our other, slightly easier events like Learning to Lucet!

Only a limited number of places are available, so please reserve yours by booking a ticket on Eventbrite. There is a charge of £5 which you will be asked to pay on the day. If you find you can’t make it, please do let us know so we can offer your place to someone else!
